In both tropical and temperate regions, the sustainability and adaptation of fodder systems to environmental and economic changes are issues under debate. The ECLIPSE project aims, through its research, to characterise the environmental and agronomic resources available for ruminant livestock systems, to make fodder production on farms more efficient, but also to adapt animal feed to cope with climate change.
