ECLIPSE related : WHAT IMPACT DOES SOIL FERTILISATION HAVE ON GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS?

To mitigate the climate crisis, reducing greenhouse gases is a major challenge. Recycling compost and manure to enrich soils could reduce the net carbon footprint.

However, the use of these compounds as fertilisers leads to greenhouse gas emissions that need to be quantified. This is the work of Camille Tourangin and Louis-Axel Edouard Rambaut in Réunion!

The  Cirad research team SELMET, to which the ECLIPSE project is attached, studies these issues in Mediterranean and tropical areas.

Stay tuned, we will soon present Camille Tourangin and Louis-Axel Edouard Rambaut's work on these themes!
